We followed our usual route deciding when we started up the left branch arroyo that we'd add distance, which we did by bushwhacking eastward. We reversed direction before climbing the hills east of us to avoid the wind.
We took a long drive after the outing, even heading into neighborhoods we don't usually frequent.
