Midweek Morning Meander

Lineman school is in session
Lineman school near Tortugas Mountain was in full swing when Becca and I got out there this morning.  She's always slightly leery and curious about what they're doing since we only see them twice a year.  Humidity levels were pretty high this morning, but we're supposed to be drying out.  The rock pictured below looked at first like the product of a sedimentary process, but on closer inspection I noticed that the top surface gleamed in the sun from a quartz-like layer, and the underside looked more like a volcanic rock.
