Windy and Warm

Sky at start
It was in the mid-30s when Becca and I hit the trail on the west side of Tortugas Mountain this morning, and it only felt chilly because of a persistent breeze.  The breeze turned to wind by the time we were done with our hike, but the temperature had warmed significantly by then.  We're headed for a high of 65F today.  We ran into our pal Jimmy back at the parking area who we haven't seen in quite some time.  Had a good chat with him toward the end of which JC and Olivia rolled up to the gate in their Honda Pilot.  We all chewed the fat (except for Becca) for a while until I had to make tracks.  The others were still palavering when Becca and I drove out of there.

I like the photos of Becca looking out on the road that you both will be taking. Reminds me of the Robert Frost poem.
