Chilled Trekkers

This & next:  Soaptree Yucca putting up its flower stalk
50F when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I started off this morning; it wouldn't have felt too bad had it not been for a stiff, cold wind.  We all warmed up pretty quickly, though.

Got a glimpse of the Basset people and their hounds as we were descending LDR-A, but they were already in the Tellbrook Arroyo heading west toward home.

A Swainson's Hawk was circling in a hunt for prey out toward the Organs, but I couldn't get any good images of it.

All in all we had a pretty good outing today in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert.
