Where's the Beef?


There's plenty to eat here on the grounds at COC, but what this Black-tailed Jackrabbit is munching on is hard to say. It looks like some kind of leaf. I've seen these jackrabbits eating many a different plant (they are vegetarians), including the pads of prickly pear cactus.
No, that's not a beard on the chin of an elderly Jack, but something from the material it was eating; although the "beard" does add a certain look of Oriental wisdom to his narrow face.
