First Arroyo Trek

At start
It didn't feel too hot out there this morning so the four of us hiked to First Arroyo for a brief shade and water respite.  After drinks we explored the arroyo before heading back.

A man and woman we see fairly often out there passed by the arroyo while we were in it, and by the time we got out to LDR they were already coming up behind us.  We pulled over to the side of the trail to let them pass, and both Heelers had to let their feelings be known:  Willow whimpering to get near the hikers and Frio barking to keep them at bay.

We did have a slightly less pleasant encounter at the start of our trek; while we were heading down LDR-A the woman who runs with her white Standard Poodle appeared suddenly behind us.  Her dog is always perfectly well-mannered for the occasion, but ours are embarrassingly bad.  Both Willow and Frio acted as if they'd tear every bit of fur out of that poodle if only they could get at it.  Fortunately all canines were leashed.
