First Trek to Second Arroyo

Barrel Cactus fruit
No bushwhacking detours this morning; just a trek up to Second Arroyo and back.  It was a pleasantly warm day in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert--lots of sun, few clouds and no wind.

Saw no one out there today, save a few jackrabbits that got Willow's and Frio's attention; fortunately we were able to rein in our Heelers before they went after the hares full tilt.

Good exercise today while enjoying the splendor of our beloved desert.
