Abbreviated Trek

Shopping day at the hacienda means that I have to cut our morning hike a little short in order to get home, shower and go to Target and Albertsons before those stores become overcrowded.  Although Becca and I did an abbreviated trek--not venturing into the outback west of the mountain--we still saw a lot of interesting subjects worth photographing.

The flowers on the Mormon Tea bush look so delicate, but I think the flowers, and the plant, are pretty hardy to thrive in the desert.
