In Low Desert Again

1s3 3:  Chihuahuan Desert vistas
Around 7 last night the sky opened up and dumped a deluge of rainwater on our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert.  It was apparent this morning that the Barrel Cacti were deeply appreciative.  Several were blooming beautifully.

We did our usual hike in the moisture-saturated atmosphere today; and afterward we took a long drive to check out the flora in different neighborhoods.  Obviously all plants benefited from last night's downpour.
