Sprinkles

1st 3:  clouds over the mountains
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I really lucked out this morning; heavy cloud cover kept the temperature down, and, despite the absence of a breeze, the humidity didn't feel too bad.

We noticed just as we were arriving today that a large group of vehicles was parked at the Sonoma Ranch/Tellbrook parking lot.  We guessed the people were Search and Rescue workers training their dogs; we did, in fact, hear a few dogs barking, and, later, a man walking along a ridge east of us with a woman who was screaming for her dog.

We did our usual hike, but took fewer shade and water breaks because we didn't need to get out of the sun.
