Barrel Cactus Day

Asleep in the patio enclosure
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our regular Saturday morning hike today, and the weather was hot.  We had a consistent breeze that ameliorated the heat somewhat, but it still felt pretty bad out there.

Fortunately the ants seemed to be sheltering from the burning sun so we were able to take several shade/water breaks along the way.

After the trek we all drove over to the Pan Am center in order to mail a few bills.  We noticed that Cafe Milagro seemed to be pretty full, many bikes parked along the wall outside.  Obviously a popular breakfast spot.
