"A" Mountain #1

GPS track of this morning's hike
I kept our morning trek down to about 2 miles because I wanted to go a little easier on Becca today--and on myself as well.  Nevertheless we did some hiking on rocky trails that required a good bit of climbing and descending.  I took the Garmin eTrex along because I wanted to record the track of a short hike I put together using separate routes I'd never combined before.  It was a pretty decent outing, especially because the weather was good, and the wind was absent--unlike yesterday.

There were other outdoor enthusiasts on and about the mountain, but we ran into no one on the trails we chose to hike.  Unfortunately, with the exception of a few Desert Cottontails and a sparrow here and there, we encountered no wildlife.  I had hoped to capture some images of animals, but not even the rabbits were cooperative, dashing off just as I pulled my camera out.
