
During the first half of our hike this morning, the sky was slightly overcast and the air cool. Things got hot fast as the sky cleared.

We sought shade at the rock shelter.

All of the Creosote Bushes near the shelter were in bloom.

Some were still budding.

On the way down to the arroyo we discovered this Rain Lily bulb.
