A fairly grizzled Coyote |
We saw an elderly Trickster (Coyote) on the west side of Tortugas Mountain this morning. By the way he was traversing the mountain, we could tell he was a pretty old specimen; which made me wonder: where do Coyotes go to die? I've been hiking in the desert for many years and only have found a skeleton or two.

That trickster is probably the elder in his tribe.
