Unexpected Rain

Just getting started and getting rained on
My weather app read 1% chance of rain this morning so Dr. K, Willow and I were quite surprised when precipitation started coming down just before we left for our daily trek.  We didn't wait for it to abate, however, leaving while the rain was falling; it was still raining when we got out of the CR-V at the trailhead.  After about one-fourth of the hike the rain gave out, and we enjoyed a fairly cool outing in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert.
