Sticky Saturday

A cloud shadow
It felt quite sticky out there this morning while Dr. K, Willow and I did the daily hike; it felt pretty hot, too, due to brilliant sunshine.  The slight, intermittent breeze did its best to cool things down, but to no avail.  We saw two hikers/runners on LDR heading north, but we never spotted them coming back.  After the outing we drove over to our local Circle K to fuel up the CR-V, but all the pumps were inoperable.  It would have been nice if management had put a sign out indicating the problem  We skedaddled over to Maverick on the other side of University to get gas.
