Although it was 30F just as we were starting the hike this morning the bright sunshine and absence of wind kept conditions bearable.  We followed the regular route during which we spotted no other outdoor enthusiasts in our section of desert.  Despite the cold earth Willow made sure to lie down in nearly all of her designated resting spots.
