Cool Day


Research Associate Becca and I got a real break on our morning jaunt--a completely overcast day.

A small Mesquite tree gets a respite from the nearly-omnipresent sun on the eastern flank of Tortugas.

A small Devil's Head (aka Horse Crippler) grows in a small rock crevice.
