Friday Morning


The sun was just beginning to touch this Yucca on the west side of Tortugas when we started out this morning.

Trusty pathfinder has gotten a tad off course here.

Becca...does she need a GPS system for Christmas?

This morning Alex spotted a flock of hawks heading south. He counted 30 of them. I managed to get a last look at them as they soared off. I was sort of stunned, as I had never thought of the simple process of birds of prey having to follow their meals south. Alex had to explain it to me.
