Looked like a Sphinx Moth larva from a distance, but no It felt really hot out there this morning as Dr. K, Willow and I did the daily trek....

I love that picture of the bird in the yucca.
Alex has identified that bird as a 'Chihuahuan Desert' bird, ie, one that lives in the Chihuahuan Desert.
Alex says that the Chihuahuan Desert is his favorite desert. He's been to the Chihuahuan, Sonoran, Great Basin, and Mohave deserts so far.
Alex needs to come visit Packrat.
