HIDRI Day 4


Packrat made a big mistake in selecting the trail for today's hike. T-109 (Alamo Peak Trail) looks mild enough here at its start.

But it soon began to plummet--sometimes at a 25% grade--down Alamo Peak.

There were some shady respites along the way, but much of the trail was exposed to the sun.

Even the intrepid Beckster was plum tuckered out.

Packrat was a bundle of energy. Not!
