
There were no gnus on the trail this morning, but the gnats were out in abundance, flying into ears, congregating under the brim of my baseball cap, being a general nuisance. Even the doggie was bugged; check out the angle of her tail.

You can't tell by this photo, but the gnats were nattily attired.
