Because Wednesday is provision-replenishment day (aka "shopping") here at the Chihuahuan Observation Center, Becca and I got off to a late start. We parked halfway between the Sunset and Monte Vista parking lots and hiked the north face of the mountain. Here's a view of a handsome yucca blooming on the side of the mountain.
