Chihuahuan Desert Morn


A stiff breeze kept the temperature bearable this morning as Research Associate Becca, Dr. K and I hiked around Tortugas Mountain. Here's one of the vistas that greeted us: the southern reaches of the Organ Mountains.

This nest in a yucca could belong to a Cactus Wren.
