We took a long hike on the west side of Tortugas this morning, marvelling at how snow-free the landscape was already after the big storm.
It looked like almost any other sunny day in the desert, although a bit muddier.
You had to look hard to the Organ Mountains to find remnants of the white stuff.
Workers were hauling wooden pallets to the top of Tortugas.
These guys had to stop and readjust their load.

I wonder why those people were bringing that load up the mountain.
