Monte Vista Side


Dr. K, Ms. Becca and I made our way to the east side of Tortugas Mountain for a morning hike. Immediately, Dr. K had to stop and retie her well-worn boot.

Somebody's been enjoying a Prickly Pear.



This fine specimen of a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake was only slightly perturbed at our nearby presence. He/She (?) gave one quick rattle to inform us we were a bit too close.
