A robust Ocotillo on Tortugas's west side |
We did a long hike on the west side of Tortugas Mountain this morning. We only ran into two guys riding a dune buggy on the road around the mountain. They had every right to be there, but I hate internal combustion engines out in the desert. Love them in the city, though.

The ocotillos are still greened out, even though it's late in the season.
