Thursday Hike

Contrails over the Organ Mountains
There was an incredible amount of jet traffic this morning, owing to what I don't know.  The contrails over the Organ Mountains appeared to be concentrated over the El Paso, Texas area, but the jets we saw didn't seem to be military types.

We took a good, long hike on the western side of Tortugas Mountain, seeing only one other man and his dog hiking in the same general vicinity.  Nice to be alone and experience true serenity.

Always on the alert
