Bit of a Bushwhack

"O"s in an arroyo
On our way to the trailhead we saw the Basset people and their hounds walking east up Tellbrook Road.  Later we saw them descending a hill in the direction we were heading; we had to adjust our plans slightly to avoid the Bassets so we bushwhacked southward until he hit the junction with the middle branch arroyo.

From there we headed down the left branch to a point from which we began bushwhacking in an easterly direction.  Looped back around to the lower section of the left branch, ascended that branch to the junction with the middle, and then we did the rest of our usual hike.

There were yuccas on a hill . . .
