Ten a.m. Start

1st 2:  Tortugas and the Organs
Another visit to the vet for Frio caused a delay in our morning hike, but we got started at 10 and managed to get a full trek in.  Even though it was later the temperature was still pretty cold, and a persistent breeze made conditions a bit more uncomfortable.

We did some earnest bushwhacking along the way which always seems to make the cattle dogs happy.  They were completely under control until we were about halfway up the right branch arroyo and they surged ahead as if they were anticipating an imminent animal encounter.  We saw none.
