Thursday Trekking

Coyote encounter
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our usual hike on a pleasant morning.  Had a coyote encounter early on, but when I whistled at it the critter scooted.

The most notable sight today was that of a peculiar silhouette behind the mountains that seemed to roughly mimic the shape of the peaks.  Sun was from south shining on the north-to-south range and creating this odd phenomenon I'd never seen before.

We saw the Basset crowd up at the end of Tellbrook just as we were ready to drive home.
