Just getting started down LDR-A
|
The horror show comes later this afternoon when I find out from Casa Honda the financial damage caused by having them do repairs on our 2015 CR-V.
This morning Dr. K, Willow and I did our regular route southwest of Tortugas Mountain, seeing no other hikers during the outing. We did see an Ash-throated Flycatcher who I got a few decent photos of.
After we got home I had to take the CR-V over to Casa Honda's service department for an oil change and to have the Hazard lights fixed; I think a fuse needs to be replaced for the latter. I also asked them to check the timing chain because the vehicle is running a bit rough and I've been told by a friend, and have read on the internet, that anywhere between 60,000 and 100,000 miles is the cutoff for timing chain life. A timing chain failure can totally wreck an engine. It's also a costly item to replace.
