Beating the Wind

Early morning clouds

The morning was pleasant enough today, sunshine, little wind, interestingly odd clouds overhead.  We followed our usual route, seeing, while doing so, the Basset people and their hounds as well as Two-White-Dogs-Lady and her pups.  The best thing about our trek--aside from the exercise it provided--was the absence of the gusty winds forcasted for the afternoon.  They're here now (1:14 pm).  We cut our post-lunch sojourn outside with Willow short because of unpleasant condition.
