| Nice, sunny morning |
Dr. K had another meeting this morning so it was Willow and me on the daily trek. 49F when we started off, but conditions warmed up quickly due to bright sunshine and no wind. While we were heading up the right branch arroyo I saw what I thought, at first, was a coyote walking along the ridge east of us. When I looked at it through my camera's telephoto lens I saw two Basset Hounds ahead of their pack: the Basset people accompanied by another hiker. After our outing Willow and I drove to the small post office to mail in our property tax payment.
