27F when Dr. K, Willow and I started our hike this morning; fortunately the sun was shining brightly.  A pesky cold breeze rose later during the trek, but we were nearly finished by then.  Lots of ice on the CR-V windows at home, and lots of frost on desert plants.  We saw no other hearty nature enthusiasts while we followed our regular route today.
