Just a tad cooler out there this morning, but still pleasant for Dr. K, Willow and me.  We saw the Basset People and their hounds while we drove to the trailhead and, later, when they were crossing a ridge far to the east of us.  They were the only outdoor enthusiasts we spotted.  We three took a long drive after the hike before heading home.
