Sunday Rescue? II

The desert valley lay before us.

At the far point of our hike a dog came running out of the desert. It looked thin and emaciated, but I later found out the build was normal for the breed: a Llewellin Setter. She had a collar with a name tag and phone number. Her name was Bella, but her parents weren't home. We took her back to the car with us and drove her home, where she was eventually reunited with her mother.
