Arroyo Jaunt

Local color
Did an arroyo jaunt with Mr. Frio this morning; my body didn't feel up to handling both Frio and Willow, so she stayed home with Dr. K.  Frio was very well behaved while we hiked eastward in the major arroyo west of Tortugas Mountain, the one that parallels Geothermal Road.

We trekked up past a crossroad before doubling back and taking it south up to the northernmost dirt road, which we followed all the way back to Geothermal.

The only other outdoor enthusiast we saw during our exploration was a mountain biker who passed us heading west just before we reached the barriers beyond which the CR-V waited.
