Bad air from forest fires
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I drove to the dirt pullout off Tellbrook a little late this morning, so the temperature was already rising.  It didn't feel too hot out there, though, until we were headed back to the high flatland.

We saw a few other hikers and crossed paths with a guy driving a SXS (UTV), a man who waved to us as he whizzed past.

The air was noticeably bad out there today, probably still a result of the wildfires in the west that have been pumping high-level smoke our way.  Damned disconcerting what's happening to our country these days.
