Three for the Forest

1st 2:  morning rainbow

It started raining about 5 this morning, and when I took Willow out to do her business there was a rainbow in the mountains.  She and I also got sprinkled on a bit while we were walking around our property.

After breakfast Dr. K, Willow and I did a hike in the forest behind the cabin, nearly duplicating the trek we took yesterday.  Because of the rain it felt quite humid, but the temperature was only 63F.

When we got back to the cabin Dr. K helped me secure the latch on the front gate which required sawing off a small piece of wood, drilling holes in it in order to affix it to the fence opposite the keeper bar and securing the bar to the piece of wood with an additional screw.  Job well done!
