Before Sunrise

1st 2:  Robledos at sunrise

Dr. K, Willow and I had to get a really early start this morning due to the scheduled delivery of a washing machine.  We were out there at sunrise, barely edging out the Basset people who were heading our way.  About halfway through our hike we encountered the hounds and their people; they were descending the ridge just east of the left branch arroyo.  Lots of barking on the Basset's part and whining from Willow; there was no danger of direct contact, though.
