Rain Break

At the trailhead
With the chance of all-day rain today Dr. K, Willow and I were lucky to get in a full hike.  It was obvious from tracks in the wet sand--and the way Willow picked up their scent--that the Basset people and their hounds had already been down LDR-A ahead of us.  A bit later we spotted them far to the west bushwhacking home through the desert.  There were other nature enthusiasts out there this morning:  a camper with a tent far to the east, several vehicles parked at the Tellbrook/Sonoma Ranch lot and an old red Jeep driving along wet dirt roads.  We took a long ride after the trek listening to the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets playing football in London.

From here to the mountains

Dayflowers still blue
