October Redux

1st 2:  just getting started in the forest

We decided against heading to the upper high country because the leaves have yet to turn up there; instead we did a hike in the forest behind the cabin.  The weather was perfect:  high 40s, plenty of sunshine, not even a breeze.  Willow was on her best behavior, staying between Dr. K and me, not straying more than a few feet off track.  After we got back I did a small amount of work around the property.  Because we only got less than half an inch of rain during the three weeks since we were her last there really wasn't much mowing or weeding to do.
