100 Again

We're at least 13 degrees above average today, as we were yesterday when we hit 100.  The dog days of summer continue to hang on, making it especially unpleasant on hikes in the Chihuahuan Desert.  Fortunately, we're able to go early enough to ameliorate the effects of the heat.

We're giving serious thought to crossing Las Cruces off our list of retirement options (which might make you and other Las Cruces denizens happy!)

It can get hot here, but it is also beautiful.

Packrat, it certainly was nothing you said on your blog. It's the seemingly relentless high temperatures! I'm most comfortable at 65 degrees and 40% humidity (or less).
