Fall in the Desert

It didn't feel like a Fall day this morning out on the trail; because of abundant sunshine, it was actually kind of warm.  Things look to be changing, though, as another cold front is blowing in this afternoon.  Nighttime temperatures will be in the low 30s the rest of the week.  Not surprisingly the trails were uncrowded early today.  We only encountered one other person, a woman jogger who was running at a snail's pace.
