That desert wind can be incredibly strong. And dirty.
On our visit to New Mexico in March 2008, we visited Acoma Pueblo and the wind was howling. At that time, Kali was wearing contact lenses and had forgotten to bring her glasses with her, so we took the guided tour with Kali's face buried in a woolen scarf to keep our the dust and grit!
I love Acoma Pueblo. Beautiful place. If you ever get a chance, Scott, visit Oraibi in northern Arizona.
