On Our Way Down

Getting started on the Grand View
Dr. K, Becca and I hit the Grand View Trail for an 80-minute hike on our way down the mountain this morning.  We had already packed up and had everything ready for our trip back to the lower desert after our trek.  We ran into one jogger on the trail, a guy we've bumped into several times before on the Grand View--a pleasant man who's never concerned about Becca even though she's off lead.  Of course Becca never bothers him, being the well-trained hound that she is.  We had a very pleasant outing before taking the 90-minute drive back to Las Cruces.

Packrat, I really like the last photo. It's hard to leave the high desert, but we'll be back next month (I hope).
