On the slope alongside LDR-A
|
Did the same hike as yesterday, but added the spur road at the end of the trek. We got a later start, but it wasn't exceedingly hot in the desert this morning. The air was very bad, though, owing to the smoke from western wildfires.
The Heelers were content on today's outing, though we'd like to take them a little further in order to burn their energy off. As the days grow cooler we'll be able to increase the distance of our daily treks.
Saw no one in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert during our exploration--just the way we like it.

Those Prickly Pear needles look pretty dangerous.
