Awfully Hot Hike

Long view to Tortugas and the Organ Mountains
It was just the three amigos on the morning hike; Dr. K went shopping.

We did our usual trek in near-brutal weather conditions:  blazing sun, no breeze, high humidity yet again.  The chance of rain rises steeply tonight and tomorrow; 40% after 5 p.m. on Tuesday.  We can always use the precipitation even though we've had quite a bit so far this monsoon season.

Felt really good to have the hike over with today.
