Bling Shakers

First 3:  Swainson's Hawk
We were stealthily descending LDR-A arroyo so I might get an even closer photo of the Swainson's Hawk we spotted when both Frio and Willow shook simultaneously.  The jangling of the bling on their collars chased the raptor away.

The most notable thing on our outing this morning was the discovery of the chunks of broken-up concrete (from a wall or a bridge?) that were dumped on LDR-A not far from the junction with the upper flatland road.  It's not hard to understand the illegal dumping, but why discard the debris so that it blocks the road?  Almost seems a spiteful act.
